Kaseya Awarded GSA Schedule 70 Contract
Accelerates Automated IT Systems Management in Government and Education Markets
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – November 17, 2010 — Government agencies seeking an easier way to manage their IT systems now have the same powerful technology at their fingertips as companies in the private sector. The IT Schedule 70 is a long-term contract issued by the U.S. GSA to a commercial technology vendor. The Schedule 70 designation lets federal, state and local government agencies, K-12 school districts and higher education institutions purchase Kaseya products through a streamlined process, cutting administrative costs.
Vendors must undergo a comprehensive application process, including rigorous testing and the negotiation of fair and reasonable prices, to win a GSA Schedule contract. Government customers can access information about Kaseya through the GSA eLibrary using the Kaseya contract number GS-35F-0042X. Purchase of the Kaseya VSA solution may be made from the federal government's online shopping site, GSA Advantage.
The Kaseya VSA solution provides IT professionals with the capability to proactively manage and control IT assets remotely, easily and efficiently from one integrated Web-based platform. The IT systems management software automates frequent tasks such as asset discovery, patch management, software deployment, device maintenance, checking for security vulnerabilities, and auto remediation of common system issues.
